To help support a shift towards the use of sustainable travel we’re offering new residents at Shoreview the chance to claim a free Nexus POP Card, loaded with £90 in credit.

A POP Card can be used to pay for journeys on almost all bus services across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and the Tees Valley, as well as on any Metro service and the South Shields Ferry.

From December 2024, POP cards can now also be used on trains on the Northumberland Line. Simply touch in at the station validator or gate at the start of your journey and touch out at the end. The card will automatically calculate the best fare for you and you’ll only pay for the journey you’ve made.
